Assembly Fluid Verification SmartApp™

Function: Prevents the operator from using the wrong assembly fluid when starting a new production run via a bar code scan. It simultaneously records the assembly fluid used for each production run in the SmartDispenser^®’s device history/production data record (Excel CSV File).

Benefit: Prevents expensive post-production quality rejections from happening due to human error.  Provides documentation of the assembly fluid for greater quality control.

Auto Program Load SmartApp™

Function: Automatically loads the dispense program for a specific product on the SmartDispenser^® prior to a new production run via a bar code scan.

Benefit: Eliminates human error by preventing the operator from selecting the wrong dispense program which would result in expensive scrapped production parts and costly rework processes. Provides documented program confirmation for greater quality control.

User Program Select SmartApp™

Function: Removes the security restriction preventing the operator from changing the dispense program, allowing the operator to change the dispense program loaded on the SmartDispenser.^®

Benefit: Provides greater flexibility at the operator level.

Work Order Tracker SmartApp™

Function: Allows the work order number to be manually entered or scanned into the SmartDispenser,^® giving it the ability to document all key production data in real-time for the assembly process associated with the work order.

Benefit: Provides management with production run data, per work order number, instantly for import in to Excel for analysis from each and every SmartDispenser^® operating on the production line. Provides key data for operator reviews, workstation efficiency, workstation security, greater quality control and cost accounting data to the point of fluid dispense.  Enables the medical device manufacturer to meet regulatory requirements by documenting traceability. The latter is especially useful to makers of medical devices.
