Import – Export Step Count SmartApp™

Customize Your SmartDispenser® Solution

Once the Import – Export Step Count SmartApp™ is installed, the Administrator can activate the SmartApp™ to allow a single operator to use multiple LDS Dispense Guns; each with a different assembly fluids. The app provides the flexibility to change between the four guns without completely emptying the fluid reservoir (syringe). The set up would be as follows:

  • Each LDS Dispense Gun will be labeled Gun 1, Gun 2, Gun 3 and Gun 4 (etc.).
  • Each LDS Dispense Gun will have a corresponding USB memory flash drive labeled Gun 1, Gun 2, Gun 3 and Gun 4 (etc.).
  • An Import step count button is added to SmartDispenser’s program menu.
  • An Export step count button is added to SmartDispenser’s program menu.
  • When the operator wants to change LDS dispense guns:
  • The operator inserts the corresponding USB Stick for the gun being used, pushes export step count and the step count is recorded on the USB flash memory drive. The gun is disconnected and stored with the USB stick.
  • The operator connects a new gun, inserts the corresponding USB memory flash drive, pushes import step count and the step count is automatically loaded from the flash drive into the SmartDispenser® controller.
