OTS Automation Platform

The OTS Automation Platform from Fishman® Corporation provides System Integrators with an off-the-shelf XYZ Cartesian module with ±2µm repeatability, 10x higher precision and 4 m/s speed to help accelerate the delivery of custom solutions. In addition, its Z-Axis Zero Downtime design features a precision ball screw actuator with a tight 2mm lead and ≤3µm backlash, as well as a 165mm stroke to handle tall parts. Its E-Stop Safe design also allows the Z-Axis to maintain stable motion which offers crash-proof and viscosity-safe advantages.

Exceptional Axis Repeatability
Repeatability on the X and Y is ±2 µm, where on competing platforms, ±20-60 µm is the norm, OTS delivers an increase of performance by 10-30 fold.

High Speed Robot
It can achieve an operational speed of 4 m/s (~157.5 inch/s) in the XY plane.

Precise Alignment
The total alignment of the gantry (of all 3 axis) is only 12.7 µm (0.0005 inch).

The OTS Automation Platform is a custom automation starter platform for a complete machine. The OTS starter gantry allows an integration engineer to design and build a high-performance custom automation platform with ease.

3-Axis Precision Robot
The 3-axis Cartesian gantry dispensing robot features a direct-drive linear motor X-axis, dual direct-drive linear motor Y/Y’ axes, and a precision ball screw Z-axis, achieving ±2 µm positioning repeatability in the XY plane and ±3 µm on the Z-axis.
