The SmartDispenser® fluid dispensing system is capable of pre-programming a global specification at a central location and locking the operator out of any program changes. Security Considerations for User Logins
There are three levels of login to the SmartDispenser®; Administrator, Supervisor and User. Administrator and Supervisor are password protected while User does not require a password. The User login cannot make any changes to the dispense program. The Administrator can program each SmartDispenser® at its primary location, enter a password, save the dispense program and ship the pre-programmed SmartDispenser® to the facility where it will be used. The Users are locked out from changes and can only run the pre-loaded program.
Other Security and Password Options
Another option is to supply the Fishman factory with the required dispense program and password. Fishman would ghost an image of the software package onto the manufacturing sever. This image would be burned on every SmartDispenser® prior to shipping. Using this method means the program and password are input once and approved. After approval the burning of the software eliminates individual input of parameters and password assuring every system is configured correctly without error.
The password can be given to a supervisor at the facility or the SmartDispenser® user can appoint a Global Program Master. The Global Program Master can log on to any SmartDispenser® via LogMeIn® and make program changes anywhere in the world.
Another security feature is the Global Program Master’s email address can be loaded into the SmartDispenser’s software. If someone finds a way to circumvent SmartDispenser® security and changes a dispense program a hidden email message will automatically be sent to the Global Program Master that an unauthorized change has been made.
