SmartDispenser® Fiber Optics Dispensing Series

It is critical that fiber optic and photonic manufacturers control precise dispense amounts. The precision that is needed is impossible to achieve with pneumatic fluid dispensing systems for a number of reasons. The pulsed air supplied to the syringe stresses the material and changes the homogeneity of certain materials. Because air contains moisture, it can result in moisture getting into the material which affects its quality. That is why major fiber optic and photonic manufacturers use Fishman’s AirFree® fiber optic dispensing systems to increase yields.

The SmartDispenser® fiber optics dispensing systems deliver all of the benefits of the SmartDispenser® and are designed specifically for dispensing epoxies for bonding glass fiber to ceramic ferrules. A wide range of assembly fluid fiber optics dispensing systems can precisely dispense epoxies, glues, and nearly any other assembly fluid.

SmartDispenser® FO

The SmartDispenser® Fiber Optics (3-10cc) comes with 3-10cc LDS Dispense Gun and 3, 5, 10cc PosiLok™ Retaining Rings. The SmartDispenser® Fiber Optics (30cc) comes with 30cc LDS Dispense Gun and a 30cc PosiLok™ Retaining Ring.

SmartDispenser®Benchtop FO

The Process Control2™ program manages two-part epoxies, such as 353ND and other fiber optic assembly fluids so each ferrule is filled without over flow or air gaps. Combine with industrial grade Genius® syringes and HiFlow™ dispense tips to achieve precise and repetitive dispense amounts without process adjustments.

The SmartDispenser® Integration Kit (SDIK) is designed to mount on a 19″ din rail in an electronics cabinet on any fully automated dispense system.
