To help eliminate the possibility of certain errors being made, Fishman®, with the help of our customers, has created a dozen SmartApps™. Falling under the “Reduction of Human Error” category, they are designed to perform an assortment of operator functions without human assistance, making them virtually error-free.
Getting Better Performance with SmartApps™
When these SmartApps™ are installed in your SmartDispenser®, they can:
- Automatically load the system’s settings/programs
- Monitor the fluid work life and automatically stop dispensing before it expires
- Automatically confirm that the correct fluid was selected and automatically stop if the incorrect fluid is selected
- Automatically monitor the fluid level in the reservoir and notify or stop dispensing before it is empty
- Rename the dispense program from a number to a name associated with the product being assembled
- Automatically verify that the operator logging in has passed any required training courses
- Automatically confirm the correct raw material was selected for the finished product assembly
