The SmartDispenser® features two fluid dispense operating modes: the traditional LDS9000® operating mode and Process Control² mode. Icons to both operating modes are located on the SmartDispenser® home screen. The traditional LDS9000® operating mode deploys the same firmware used in the legacy product the LDS9000® to control the linear drive system. The major difference between the traditional LDS9000® mode and the Process Control² mode is that the Process Control² mode adds an advanced algorithm in conjunction with the legacy product firmware allowing the linear drive system to reduce reverse motion as the syringe empties maintaining forward motion constant while combining reduced reverse motion which provides the highest fluid dispenser repeatability possible from a syringe reservoir.
